The facility hosts our Seaside Terrace Bar, Quarterdeck (open air dining) and snack bar.

For adults we hold events such as Prix Fixe Dinners, Cocktail Parties, Wine Dinners, and weekly themed events at our Seaside Terrace to cater to all tastes.

We also have monthly meetings with our Senior membership that include a delicious lunch and guest speakers.

Marina

At the far east end of The Club, there is a 98 Slip Marina with its own building, known as Twin Peaks. Inside this building you will find a Library, Dock Office, restrooms and showers. There are also 3 moorings in an anchorage area. We have two piers with floating docks. One used for guest yachts and fishing. The other is part of the Junior Sailing Program (which also has it’s own Club area, several boats, a launching crane and a launching ramp).

The Marina offers much more than a place to store your boat. The Marina Club Members are an active and social group hosting race nights, day and weekend cruises, dock parties and dinner dances.

Winter storage of boats is available on a limited basis.

In clinics and practices, our goal is to develop all aspects of tennis including Technical, Tactical, Physical, Mental/Emotional and Competitive skills in a fun-filled atmosphere. In addition to clinics and practices, this multifaceted program has team matches, match play, tournaments and fun events throughout the summer.

This is a fantastic program to be a part of and includes programs for everyone and every level.

Beach and Pool

For outdoor recreation the Club has a freshwater swimming pool with diving area, deck and chaise lounges, and a gated wading pool for swimmers seven and under. The pool area is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, seven days a week, with lifeguards on full duty.

If you prefer a swim in Long Island Sound, we have two beach areas. One features a swim platform and the other contains picnic tables, barbecue grills and an area with play equipment for younger children.

Swim & Dive Team

Membership on the swim and dive team is open to all girls and boys between the ages of 7-17 who can legally swim at least one full length of the pool in three out of the four strokes without stopping.

The team competes in Division 1 of the Fairfield County Swim League. Practices are divided so that swimmers of similar ages and abilities can learn together and develop positive relationships.

Not all young swimmers are ready for the swim team and may be encouraged to participate in the non-competitive Pre-team program. The coaching staff will recommend the appropriate placement for each swimmer.

Pre-Team

The pre-team is for children who are not yet ready for the swim team, who have no experience of competing and who are capable of swimming one lap of freestyle.

Pre-team provides the opportunity to learn how to properly swim all four strokes while improving endurance. It is also a fun way to make new friends and interact with other swimmers.

There is an optional swim race at the end of the season where children have the chance to participate in a swim meet and gain experience.

Lessons

  • We offer group, private and semi-private lessons for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced.
  • Beginners are for children ages three and older who are just beginning to learn about the water and swimming.
  • Intermediate is for ages five and up who can do the ‘Doggie Paddle’ and start to focus on the freestyle and backstroke.
  • Advanced is for swimmers who will try to master the four main strokes.
